I am 53 years old as of February 2010, have a residence in Colorado and am working in South Carolina. I am a Project Manager for a large engineering and construction firm. Early in life I was trained as a commercial photographer and mastered the color darkroom. I drifted away from photography as a way of earning a living and found more money, and probably less satisfaction. Oh well, as Robert Frost discussed about the road not taken..... I own Hasselblad 503CW with 60, 100, 150, 180, and 250 CF lenses, Mamiya RZ67 Pro II with the 110 and 210 lenses; Mamiya 7 II with the 50, 80, and 150 lense. I own a half dozen Nikon F2's because they are so dang amazingly well built and I pick one up when I find another one at a reasonable price. I have a ton of MF Nikkor lenses, all of which are good. I have one AF lens, the 50mm f1.8 Nikkor. I moved into digital over the last six months, buying a D200 which was brand new in the box for $500. I figure for that kind of money I will see if I like it. I love it!! Now saving for a D700 or its successor as well as one of the Nikkor super-zooms such as the 24-70mm. The very sharpest lens that I have is a Gitzo tripod. I photograph virtually anything and everything that interests me. I wander in the countryside and photograph what interests me. Old stuff, past generational stuff like farms, old buildings, things that will disappear. I like ultra-modern as well. I do portraiture in my home studio and need to work on outdoor and environmental portraiture.
