We do live on a planet that gets smaller and smaller. Looking at your portfolio, I noticed that you like to photograph the same flowers that I do. When I seen the animal pictures, I thought that the only way for me to take them would be in a zoo. Then I thought of the zoo in Wuppertal, which I visited many times as a child. I was amazed when I looked at some "details" in one of your pictures and realized that you live in Wuppertal. I came from Altena, live in Victoria, Canada now. Like I said, small world. You have, as Dimitri said, just a small, but very nice portfolio. Looking forward to seeing more in the future. Thank you for your comments on my images. Best wishes..........Helga

Thanks for the comment. yeah. The focus does seem to be on the cage. Most of the pictures I took of them were blurry because I didn't have my flash on... I didn't have my flash on because I was in a pet store... so there wasn't enough light in there... And I didn't want to flash the light in the birds eyes. =/

Although I would prefer to see more landscapes,I find your portfolio,containing surprisingly such a small amount of photographs,very interesting,colourful and of great technical expertise,especially ib flora subjects and PS manipulation.Thank you for your kind support in my pictures so far.

The 'Flora' section of your portfolio is a real treat!! Brilliant contrasts on every single one of the shots! I recently bought myself a Sigma 70-300 (non-APO) lens with the macro feature. Is that a good enough lens for macros or should I get a dedicated macro lens?? I used to use a set of screw-on close-up lenses for my macros so far (most of the macros on my portfolio are clicked that way).

Hello Friend!

Well here it is another year is passing away and we are coming into the holidays. I think time starts to go faster as we get older, it was just yesterday I wished my friends Happy Holidays and here it is again the end of a year. The holiday lights are starting to be put on some of the trees here in Dallas, we were out last night and some were lighting the trees. I wish for you all a holiday season with family and friends, after all is said and done all we have is each other.

I want all of you to know just what your comments and ratings on my work means to me, your words are my motivation, my drive to discover, to learn this art that we all love, thank you for taking time and thank you for caring about my works. At the same time thank you for letting us see your world, our lives are so much the same, we all care about our families and friends and we all share the same things, maybe someday our photos will help make for a lasting world peace.
