Hello Frank,

From one frank to another Frank, frankly, your photographic skill is phenomenal! There are so many great landscape shots -too many to list - you really have a great creative eye.

Contact

Hey, I was wondering if there's any way to contact you by e-mail/messenger. I would like to talk to you about your Voigtlander.

Fish-eye Lens

Hey...back in the early 1970s when we saw our first African cichlids here in the USA (NYC), we called your fish-eye fish a Haplochomis. Since then there have been many revisions (via Melanie Stiassny and others) - but their beauty and interesting behavior still fascinate me.

If you ever have a chance to visit Lake Tanganyika (or Malawi) - GO! It is amazing to swim with the cichlids...and then visit the xport comapnies on the lake to see amazing stuff (in good shape). The diversity is stunning.

I booked marked your home page...I still have a 240 gallon set-up that is largely unused right now. Looking at your frontosas, it makes me want to get back into it...Like you, I have always been in love with the beauty of fish - like underwater birds.

Frank, thank You - you have a wonderful web site (great info that is patiently explained) with superb fish photos. You also love to write - so if you are not too busy iwth the two adopted kids, you should write a book ("popular" not scientific) about your favorite subjects.

Best luck with your kids...they must love the fish.

Regards,
