David

Overall, your portfolio is amazing. I definitely think that the strongest two folders are your water shots and your night photography. Maybe thats just because those are the things that I love to shoot and you do them better than I do. You should upload some more night shots, they are great... My favorite picture is the snow shot looking down the walkway to the frozen waterfall. Absolutely perfect!

David, I would have to say that I felt you were most inspired during your time in Italy. Lots of very interesting viewpoints and good use of color and selective focus. Well done!

The use of light here is inspiring, the use of creativity- Outstanding!

I could not help but noticing in half & half. The Yin, Yang effect on the face of the dog, but it is the sadness in the creature’s eyes, the longing to be freed from the chain that separates 'it' from it’s freedom and in process Yin, Yang from destruction.

You have a great eye. I think that kind of sense of geometry, movement, and balance should be valued highly in photography. And you are obviously patient enough to get great colours. Keep doing lots of work - you set a good example for others.

Very nice, very large portfolio. Your "textures" folder caught my attention, but all your folders show a great deal thought and imagination. I look forward to more.

David, your portfolio is so creative. It is nice to see a photographer with talent who is willing to take chances. I will be back often. Very nice work.

Nice Work

My favorite new addition is to your "birds" folder. Spread. What a beautiful shot. In a year or two, I will be criticizing the fact that it is a bit out of focus, but for now I see that it has come so far from where you started with your "birds" folder. Keep on shooting.

I hear they have wonderful bird species in the Peruvian Amazon...have you ever thought of going? I think you would like it.

What a great work, as an astronomer myself, I love your night photography.

I'm not so sure about the winter section ... it looks to me like a dead winter. For winter, you need to express cold, wind, etc. You need something that will make the viewers blood run in his veins. Winter is carnivorous ... rich browns, reds, between the coldness and emptiness of the snow.

Several photos

David; Your work is outstanding. I especially like the water photos, both in and beyond the section on water. Where are you working/living these days? I have taken over evangelosdousmanis.com so it will be live at least another six months. Best, Geof
