Hola.

I like most of them, but especially your still lifes. Very imaginative. Your street photography is very good also.

I like that backlighting, with the defined shades. If you want you can alter the hair, but sincerely I believe that it is not necessary. Greetings.

Neil Peters , August 24, 2006; 10:47 P.M.

Beautiful works Gerardo. You are obviously very quick and still compose superbly. There is always a sense of inner-view in your vision. A true pleasure to see, Bravo :)

Gerardo Llaneza , August 25, 2006; 05:33 A.M.

Mesut, Anabel and Neil: Thanks for your visits. One becomes what it can. The thing is to go little by little but without stopping. It is learned in the study and in the street, but, obvious, in the street is necessary to be very fast and to be prepared of continuous. The changing light and the unexpected movement force to you to remain vigilant eye and with a premeditaded average calculation. Sometimes you return to home with 400 photos in one behind schedule and single you find means decent.

Evarist Polakovic , August 25, 2006; 05:56 P.M.

Hi Gerardo. You have a very nice portfolio. I like especially your BW shots. I wish you a good light. Cheers, Evarist.

Gerardo Llaneza , August 26, 2006; 05:18 P.M.

Evarist, thanks for that good light, I will need it.

Realmente excelente.

Gerardo Llaneza , August 29, 2006; 05:55 A.M.

Gracias, Pedro.

Thanks, Pedro. It is my "favorite sport". To catch the espontaneidad in the heat of activity. Expressions, faces, movements, acts, chances, and always at unexpected moments, with little light, or bad condicones environmental. Dif? of the subject resides in that: to try to photograph when not it can, or "is not due" to do it. A long time ago the same it did, but with paper and pencil. In those cases nobody complained. All the opposite, people felt flattered because somebody had drawn them. Now it seems that everybody has syndrome of antiphotographic "famously". This clear one that the referring programs of TV to this fact have sensitized to the comfortable population in this sense: all want to be "famous" and with a substantial check stuck to the rumps. In aim... I to mine... Thanks again (that photo enchanted to me)

Juan Riera , September 01, 2006; 07:01 P.M.

Great atmosphere

Thank You for making the contact, and i am really happy to have looked at your portfolio. I like your subjects and how you execute them. How you play with the light and shadow puts me far out. If portraits, still life or street picture, good photography. I am still trying to get there.

Hello Gerardo. Welcome aboard. The more I look at other photographer's work the more I realise how diverse we are. How we all look at the world with different eyes. As you certainly do. And it has also taught me to value my own work and not take it for granted as we sometimes do. We are all unique. Thank you for sharing and visiting me. Cheers Gerardo !!!!

Gerardo Llaneza , September 08, 2006; 05:47 A.M.

Gracias por tu bienvenida, Roy.

Biliana Rakocevic , September 08, 2006; 06:00 A.M.

Dear Gerardo, Cher Gerardo, Caro Gerardo :)

I am probably getting Older and Mature, but please how come you, that you Favorite Photographer is HCB - natural street photographer, you are suggesting me to use some extra Light ? ha ha

I Understand YOU better Now, because of your Bio, and because I am "in some MoodS" :)

Kisses, Biliana

Sheryl W (Blue Mt.) , September 08, 2006; 08:04 A.M.

I enjoy veiwing your work here... are you Italian? Nice presentation... Sheryl

Gerardo Llaneza , September 08, 2006; 12:52 P.M.

Dear Biliana:

The street is a world different from the study. In the street we used what we have by hand, whereas in the study we can be like Hollywood: we lay, photographically speaking.

Thanks for your commentaries (and your kisses) :)

Gerardo Llaneza , September 08, 2006; 01:23 P.M.

Dear Sheryl: I'm not italian, sorry. I'm spanish, "de pura cepa, manque me pese"... :)

David M , September 09, 2006; 08:14 P.M.

Carlos Cass , September 19, 2006; 05:42 P.M.
