Spectral Sensitivity of the Color Film

Color transparency films use a set of three subtractive color layers with cyan, magenta and yellow dyes to absorb varying amounts of light for the red, green and blue sensors in our eyes. The following illustration shows the color sensitivity of a typical color slide film.
