In Venice....

This one of my favourites corners in Venice.

I took this shot on a rainy day at night, when the tide was high.

A very nice image. The rainy night has added interest to the scene. The strong line of the wall draws the eye into the scene and across the bridge. A nice flow. The b&w has a nice range of tones. The only things I might suggest are toning down the large area of light water on the left and trying to get some more detail in it. Being so bright and large it tends to draw the eye away from the natural lead in of the wall. Toning it down some would reduce the competition for attention. I might try to get a bit more detail on the top of the wall if there is any to recover. That way the brightest spots in the photo would be further into the scene and draw the viewer further into the image.  I did a quick edit to show what I mean. Maybe not to your vision, just my 2 cents worth.
