Great shot.  I've not seen one quite this clear before.  Incredible depth of field.  Great color. Very well done!

 

I have seen these robber flies take town yellow jackets....which gives you an idea of how voracious and predatory these guys are.  If these were the size of cocker spaniels, it wouldn't be safe for us to go outside.
